A Legacy of Dedication
- Originally a private marina and marine railway owned by the Behlke family, who immigrated from Germany in 1900
- The Behlkes farmed the surrounding land and laid the foundation for Rhode River’s community-centered, water-respecting values
- In 1982, Brian Conner leased the marina at just 20 years old, later purchasing it and transforming it into a modern hub for boaters
